We are seeking a part-time intern/farmhand!

Looking to get your hands dirty, learn about regenerative agriculture, and engage in your local community food system? We are hiring a part-time farmhand to help care for animals and maintain the farm.

Hours: 15–20 per week (mostly evenings + one weekend day)
Pay: $10–$15/hour OR discounted on-site housing in a furnished 1-bed, 1-bath apartment, with your own garden plot.

What You’ll Learn & Do:

·       Daily livestock care (feeding, watering, moving animals on pasture)

·       Basics of rotational grazing and soil health practices

·       Fencing, maintenance, and general farm upkeep

·       Working as part of a small team focused on regenerative farming

You will also have the opportunity to pursue your own project if you wish!

We’re Looking For:

·       Someone dependable, hard-working, and curious about agriculture

·       Comfortable working outdoors in all weather

·       Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs

  • Someone who is patient and brings a good sense of humor

·   No experience required — we’ll train the right person!

This is a great opportunity for anyone looking to supplement their current income or for a student interested in environmental studies, sustainable agriculture, animal science, or food systems. You could also be a family - we are kid-friendly - looking to learn more about farming!
